OPTING OUT
How to stop messages from Venus
Plain instructions for opting out of Venus messages, plus what happens after.
1. Reply STOP
The fastest way to stop messages is to reply to any Venus text with any of these keywords:
- STOP
- UNSUBSCRIBE
- CANCEL
- END
- QUIT
Venus will confirm with a single message:
"You're unsubscribed from Venus for Maria & Marco's wedding. No further messages will be sent. Reply START to opt back in."
After that, you'll receive no further messages from that specific event.
2. Each event is separate
Venus uses a different phone number for every event. Replying STOP to one wedding's Venus stops messages for that wedding only. If you're a guest at multiple events using Luvvy Duvvy, you'd reply STOP to each one independently.
3. Opting back in
If you change your mind, reply START to the same number. Venus will confirm and resume messaging for that event.
4. Other ways to opt out
If you'd rather not reply to the message, email ops@luvvyduvvy.com with the phone number you want unsubscribed and the event name (if known). We respond within one business day.
5. What happens to your information
Once you've opted out, your phone number is flagged on that event's guest list. No further outbound messages go to you for that event. The host can see that you've opted out, so they know to reach you another way if needed.
