PRIVACY POLICY

How we handle your data

Last updated: 2026-06-03

1. Who we are

Luvvy Duvvy ("we", "us", "our") provides Venus, an AI wedding-guest concierge that handles text-based and voice-based communication with wedding guests on behalf of couples and wedding planners (the "Service"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you and your guests use the Service, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the Service:

  • Account information you provide when you book a demo or sign up: name, email, optional phone number, and the wedding details we need to set up your Venus instance (venue, date, dress code, schedule, dietary defaults, FAQ).
  • Guest contact information you upload so Venus can identify incoming texts and calls: guest name, phone number, RSVP status, and any tags you assign (e.g. dietary preference, plus-one).
  • Conversation content: the texts and call transcripts exchanged between your guests and Venus, plus the daily-digest summaries we generate for you.
  • Usage and device data: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, request paths, timestamps) collected by our hosting provider for security and operational analytics.
  • Payment information: handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

3. How we use information

  • To deliver the core Service: route guest messages to Venus, generate replies, flag conversations that need human follow-up, and send you digests.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Service: monitor uptime, detect abuse, fix bugs.
  • To process payments and prevent fraud.
  • To contact you about your account, service updates, and (with your consent) product news.
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your wedding data or your guests' conversation content to train AI models. We do not share guest contact details with other couples, planners, or marketers.

4. Service providers we share data with

We rely on a small number of third parties to deliver the Service. They process data only on our behalf and only as needed to perform their function:

  • Hosting and edge infrastructure (Cloudflare).
  • Telephony and SMS delivery (used to send and receive guest messages).
  • AI model providers (used to generate Venus's replies; we send the minimum context needed for the reply and do not authorize them to retain content for training).
  • Email delivery (transactional account email).
  • Scheduling for demo calls (Cal.com).
  • Payment processing.

We will publish the current list of named subprocessors and update it at this URL when material changes occur.

5. Data retention

Account and wedding data is retained while your account is active. Conversation logs are retained through your wedding date and a reasonable post-event window so we can deliver your digest. After that, you can keep the archive, export it, or request deletion. We delete or anonymize data when we no longer need it for the purposes set out in this policy, subject to any legal hold.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Email ops@luvvyduvvy.com to exercise any of these rights. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Your guests' data is held by us on your behalf. If a guest asks us directly to access or delete their data, we will ask you (as the data controller for that wedding) to instruct us.

7. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

This marketing site does not run advertising and does not use cross-site or third-party ad tracking. The only non-essential technology we load is privacy-conscious analytics, and it stays off until you opt in.

  • Essential storage. A single entry in your browser's local storage records your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page. It holds only your preference and a timestamp, expires after 12 months, and never leaves your device.
  • Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-JTR0VG3EVT). We use it only to understand which pages and content are working: anonymized page views, clicks, scroll depth, time on page, and approximate location derived from IP (Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address). We do not use this data for ad targeting or remarketing.

Consent first (Google Consent Mode v2). Analytics loads in a denied-by-default state. Until you choose "Accept all" in our cookie banner, Google receives only cookieless, aggregated signals and no analytics cookie is written to your device. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its standard measurement cookies. If you reject, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookie is ever set.

Your control. The banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or Customize the analytics category. We remember your choice for 12 months, and you can change it at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer, which reopens the banner.

Separately, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as your IP address and user agent to deliver and protect the site, as described in sections 2 and 4. That processing is necessary to run the site and does not involve advertising or cross-site tracking.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. Do not upload information about minors as guest contacts unless you have the right to do so under applicable law.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

10. Security

We protect personal information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that data will never be compromised.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post material updates at this URL and, for active users, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new policy.

12. Contact
