Will this replace my wedding planner or coordinator?

No. Venus works even better paired with your wedding coordinator or planner. She gives them visibility into the entire guest experience (what people are asking, where the confusion is, who needs follow-up) so they can deliver a higher level of service to you and your guests, instead of being the human FAQ on event day.

Is this right for DIY couples?

Especially. You're already managing a significant load: logistics, planning, coordination. Fatigue, exhaustion, and overwhelm are real. Talk to any DIY couple six weeks out. They're ready to throw their phone out the car window when the tenth guest asks about the RSVP, after they've already sent multiple email and text reminders manually. Venus will reach out organically and conversationally, on her own schedule, until every guest is sorted.

I've never heard of a wedding concierge service before.

How long does setup take?

Setup starts the moment you schedule your onboarding call. On the call our team gathers everything Venus needs to run your event: venue, dress code, schedule, dietary defaults, the FAQ specific to your wedding. In parallel we provision your own dedicated phone number with our telephony provider, which takes 3 to 5 days. Once it's live, you can share it with your guests immediately and Venus starts answering.

Will my guests think they're talking to a robot?

They'll think they're talking to a thoughtful coordinator who has read every detail of your wedding. Venus is voice and text only: no avatar, no impersonation, no creepiness. She introduces herself in the first message as the couple's AI concierge so guests know exactly what they're texting. In practice, some guests have called her a "very nice person on the phone."

How does Venus handle questions she doesn't know the answer to?

She is calibrated to recognize what she doesn't know. When she is not confident about a guest's question, she flags it for you (or your planner) with full context, tells the guest she will get back to them shortly, and then loops back once you have answered. You see flagged conversations in your daily digest before the guest follows up. In pilot testing, Venus's confidence-calibrated accuracy was over 99%.

What does Venus NOT do?

She doesn't replace your planner. She doesn't make decisions about your wedding. She doesn't message your guests proactively unless you ask her to. And she doesn't pretend to be human. She introduces herself upfront every single time.

Is my wedding data private?

Yes. Conversation logs are yours, encrypted at rest, exportable, and deletable on request. Venus does not use your wedding data to train models. After the wedding you can keep the archive, delete everything, or pass the digest to your planner for their records.
